Proximus Global and Valid join forces on SGP.32 to open up eSIM ecosystem for Global IoT

Partnership leverages GSMA’s SGP.32 eSIM standard to simplify deployment of connected devices and accelerate time to market for IoT innovators

Brussels – 29th January 2026 – BICS, a Proximus Global company and leading international connectivity enabler, and Valid, a global provider of eSIM and remote SIM provisioning solutions, have partnered to bring streamlined global SGP.32-ready IoT connectivity to the market. By combining Valid’s eSIM solutions – including secure operating systems, profile generation, and remote SIM provisioning platforms – with BICS’ global network infrastructure, the two companies aim to simplify the deployment of connected devices across borders to accelerate time-to-market for IoT innovators.

The joint effort, underpinned by the GSMA’s SGP.32 eSIM standard, enables device manufacturers, IoT service providers, and enterprises, to benefit from bundled connectivity and eSIM services — helping reduce fragmentation and integration complexity in global deployments while fostering scalability and efficiency.
